Disaster
02:50

i thought it'd get better
as i got older
little did i know
time goes by faster
what a disaster
just let it go
more of the same
it's hurting my brain
had to let it go
drop expectations
maintain relations
let your feelings show
it doesn't get better
as you get older
you just learn to cope
harness your hopes
and follow your dreams
it's not as hard as you're makin' it be
when things get so heavy
break down the levee
just let it flow
i thought it'd get better
as i got older
little did i know
time goes by faster
what a disaster
just let it go

Adore You
02:25
|
|||
sometimes I wonder what it would be like
living without you by my side
would I still be happy and free
or is it only because you changed me
oh I'm so grateful for you
I adore you
I'd never change a thing

Ever-changing
03:01
|
|||
you ask me if I never want to see you again
oh baby, I don't have the answers
I'm ever-changing, rearranging trying to
figure out what works for me
I saw you walking down the street with her
I couldn't it help, I didn't think I just ran to you
it wasn't pretty and I'm sorry
that I ruined your day, your good-bye
but it was really nice to see you
and I'm really glad that you are doing well
you're working oh so hard on yourself
you're starting to see all that you are
all you could be, all I've seen
all along
I still love you
I'm ever-changing, rearranging
trying to figure out what works
for me

Blue
03:34
|
|||
you're drunk and you're in another country
and I know that you're falling love with me
but I don't know if I can be with somebody
so far away, you're so far away
it just doesn't seem realistic for one of us to have to emigrate
I love you and who you are it's been so great getting to know you
but I'm feeling blue
what's the weather like in London today
I've got all these words
don't know what to say
you're drunk and your accent's really lovely
and I know that you're falling in love with me
but I don't know if I can be with somebody
so far away, you're so far away
it just doesn't seem realistic for one of us to have to emigrate
I love you and who you are it's been so great getting to know you
but I'm feeling blue
what's the weather like in London today
I've got all these words
don't know what to say
I'm stoned and I'm feelin' pretty lonely
and I'm wishin' that you were here to hold me
but you're five hours ahead of me
I bet you're sleeping peacefully
I'm still feeling blue
what's the weather like in London today
I've got all these words
don't know what to say

Come Down
04:10
|
|||
rain, come down
the heat wears me out
it's getting foggy, I can't see
these clouds don't ever seem to leave
it gets so hard to see the light
just when you think you cannot fight
the sun will rise again
rain, come down
I wear myself out
my mind is racing, I can't sleep
why did you have to leave
it gets so hard to see the light
just when you think you cannot fight
the sun will rise again
rain, come down
I wear myself out
it gets so hard to see the light
just when you think you cannot fight
the sun will rise again
it'll all be all right my friend

Jesse Taylor Band Burlington, Vermont
Rock, pop, punk. . . we're not really sure. Highly introspective, Jesse Taylor pours her heart out into her lyrics and
music. Hailing from Maine, Jesse moved to Burlington to later find out she'd pursue music.
After performing as a solo artist for a couple years, she formed a band consisting of locals: Carlton Yost (drums), Nicholas Treis (lead guitar), and Ian Morris Greenman (bass).
